2024 marked an important year in the development of Wikov Group. The Group continued to grow despite challenging economic and geopolitical conditions, strengthened its position in key markets and, through the acquisition of Litostroj, entered a new strategic segment of renewable energy.
One of the most significant milestones of the year was the acquisition of ENERGO-PRO Industries and its subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, the USA and Canada, operating under the Litostroj brand. The transaction significantly expanded the Group’s presence in hydropower and created a second strong pillar alongside its established mechanical engineering activities.
Wikov also continued its international expansion. Following acquisition activities initiated in 2023, Wikov Gear Canada was established at the end of 2024, incorporating Wikov Wessex and the assets of Havlik Gear and providing the Group with a solid foundation for further growth in Canada and the USA.
In addition, Wikov Group acquired stakes in BMRC GROUP and PAS Natura, further diversifying its activities and creating additional opportunities for future development.
These strategic steps, together with the performance of the Group’s companies, were reflected in strong financial results. Consolidated revenues increased by approximately 14.5% to CZK 4.336 billion. EBITDA grew by 39.4% year-on-year to CZK 644 million, while operating profit increased by 80% to CZK 422 million. Cash resources reached CZK 567 million, further strengthening the Group’s financial stability.
The results of 2024 demonstrate Wikov Group’s ability not only to navigate a challenging business environment, but also to actively invest in its future. Expansion into new markets, entry into hydropower and a stronger financial position have created a solid foundation for the Group’s continued long-term growth.
